*  Do the broadcasters owe it totheir proffession  to give the news as it happens without being concern about the consequences to the community


·       The main duty of them is to give a true message of happening. Their duty is to make aware people about what happening in their surrounding and society, and how it will effect to them. They have to do their job with proper understanding of their professional responsibilities  as well as their responsibilities towards the society or masses. Whatever incident take place in surrounding  they have to inform that incident as it happen without including their personal and communal biases  because their concern is about to educate people  about actuality or reality rather then the other personal concerns. Means they should be objective in their profession. 
*Does the Media make or mar the society?
Ø As we know that every coin has two side Positive and negative. And as the same way media has its both impact on society.

Ø At some extent media plays its positive role. Through media we are success to spread some social awareness like ‘Polio nabudi’ and family planning awareness.

Ø But at some extent media also became more corporate. Sometimes they give priority to money rather than the ethics. And sometimes they also governed by the authority.

Ø We can say that media has presented its negative image by presenting wrong image of society and culture, and because media is an important part of the society sometimes this wrong image create some misinterpretation about the culture and society.


Ø So we can’t say that media work only as to make the society or not only as to mar the society. It has both the side and aspect. Which play an equal role in the society.

v What is Corporate Social Responsibility?
v Corporate Social Responsibility is something which is associated with corporate world. It is that How the business takes the responsibility for social, economic and environmental impacts. It may produce from its operation or products. It belief that company needs to be responsible for its actions socially and ethically. It is a form of corporate form of Self- regulation.
vExamples of CSR:-
§  Ben & Jerry: - Which started the Ben & Jerry’s foundation and donates 7.5% of profits to charitable causes.

§  Pedigree: - Which distributes grants and food to animal shelters.

·      Introduction: - Every human being are associated with Advertisement. We watches many advertisements every day, which affect us very much. There are some types of Advertisements like Displayed Advertisement, Classified advertisement, Institutional Advertisement and Surrogate advertisement.

* Definition of Surrogate Advertisement :-
                                                               Surrogate Advertising is the kind of advertising which are used to advertise those products which are banned Like Cigarette, Tobacco and Alcohol. This form of Advertisement is using when the original products are not to advertise itself through Media.

* Examples of Surrogate advertisements:-

§  Advertisement of Bagpiper Soda

    §  Advertisement of Hayward’s 5000 soda and packaged drinking water

§  Advertisement of  Imperial Blue Music CD’s with tagline  “Men will be Men”

ü  Display Ads:-  Displayed ads are known as Images ads. These are graphical ads that appear on content network.

ü  Classified Ads:-  Classified ads are more direct an approach. It generaly do not use Appeal. It is brief in size and content.

ü Difference between Displyed advertisment and Classified Advertisment.
